Default Nickel plated vs. regular cases

Just wondering pros or cons of each. I have a 30-06 with nickel cases now but have a ton of regular brass and wondering of it will shoot differently with otherwise the same loads. All are winchester cases

I've heard the nickel plating can flake off in the resizing dieand leave scratches on the cases.

As far as shootingpreformance, I have never noticed a difference. Nickle plated chambers a little easer. Make sure cases are not flaking; the nickle flakes can damage your dies. Good luck.

I'm on about my fourth or so reload with my nickel plated 7mm rem mag cases, and they haven't flaked off at all. I've never heard of that, but I'll keep my eyes on it during the next load. I'm about ready to buy new Winchester brass anyway.

I can't say I ever had nickel plating come off. But they are rougher on your dies. And trimming them kills your cutter blades. But I will still use em when I got em. They are not my prefered brass.
