Default Are dies interchangable with different brand of reloaders?

I have Lee and RCBS dies. Have not decided on which kit to buy yet.

Mostly. Redding, RCBS, Lee are all the same threads, but hornady is an oddball.

Hornady uses the same 7/8-14 thread as Redding, RCBS, Forster...ect.
Dillon's SDB press uses a unique die as does the Lyman 310 hand press

I am talking about the Lock and load feature from hornady where you need a bushing.

If you are using the LNL bushings you may find that some Lee dies are made too short to get a lock ring on and adjust properly, I have not heard of issues with any other diebrands

Listen Hair, I am just saying hornady has a press that operates a little different than the rest of the crew. Thats it. Nothing more.

MOST metallic cartridge reloading dies are threaded 7/8-14, and will fit most presses. The main exception I am aware of are the old Lyman 310-Truline Jr. dies, and there are 7/8-14 adapters for these that will allow you to use them in the standard presses as well......

I am totally ignorant when it comes to progressive tools, and have never used the Hornady LNL dies either.....
