Default a deal I could not walk away from

I went to a gun shop today, they had a USED Lee hand press with a 357 mag die set. They where tring to sale as NEW ($35). I cought them on it. they knocked the price down to $20. I don't own a 357 nor anyone I know has one, so I sold the die set for $10.

I spent $11 w/tax on the press. I know it is not the best for loading 30-06 but I could not walk away for that price.

Would of you???

forgot one thing, I was wanting to get lee reloading die in 30 - 06 (3 - 4 die set) just to save a little more money. everyone was out of them and the one place I knew that could order them. There supplier had only one, I may not get it from them. Should I go on and get the RBCS group A sit?

They are outstanding for seating bullets while you're sitting in the living room in the evening. They are a little tough to use for FL sizing (it can be done, but it is better if you have an 800-pound gorilla handy to open the thing after shoving the case into the FL die!)

this is what I use...and I'll agree with the above^^^^^

I paid alot more than $11 for mine! and I still think I got a good deal.

I only reload 44mag, 41, 357mag, and 22-250. I LOVE this thing for the straight wall pistol cases...It takes some elbow grease for the 22-250...no matter how much or little lube I use.

I'm real happy with my Lee CARBIDE pistol dies.
I'm not so impressed with the 22-250 dies. I've had some trouble with the de-priming "rod" slipping in the resizing die. It's supposed to be a nice extra feature...but it's just a pain in the neck. I'd give RBCS a try for a shouldered cartridge.

Did it come with the priming adapter/accessory?

no that is one of the reasons I got them to cut the price. I was just going to use the old hammer and decapper way, I got 2 .30 cal cheap lee decappers. I also have a lee auto primer
