Default Ballistic Tips Crushed

Having a problem with 7MM ballistic tips. The tip get's slightly crushed when reloading...never had this problem with other calibers. The seating die is using the "end" of the ballistic tip to seat to proper depth "instead" of using the front shoulder of the bullet...
Anyone have this problem? Thought of drilling the seating die out a little so it sits on the shoulder any input?
Funny thing is I have3/4 inch groups at 100 even with the tips damaged.

Take your die out and check it for dried or crusted up lube or other junk. I had this problem from loading cast bullets at one time.

cleaning the seater plug may help, if not you'll hafta have someone modify it fo it rides the ogive of the bullet while seating instead of the tip, it just have something in it, perhaps a tip off another bullet.
