Ask around and see if any friends reload. If not, pick up a Lyman Reloading Manual, this will show you every thing from A to Z. As for kits I only use RCBS but thats my choice...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

as to information....there's many sources and the best is if you know someone that can personally help you.....however there are &quot;experienced&quot; reloaders that have no business showing anyone how to do it!! Lyman's manual will help sort the chaff from the wheat.

as far as equipment: MEC 600 JR for shotshells, and RCBS rockchucker kit for metallic shells.....

As everyone has already said, doing some reading is a good first step. I'm not that far ahead of you, I've been doing my studying and my RCBS Rock Chucker kit and the RCBS Accessory kit just arrived a few days ago. I picked mine up from www.tjgeneralstore.com. They had competetive prices, had the kit in stock (Midway didn't), and I've dealt with them several times and haven't been disappointed. The accessory kit is a good addition, gives you a powder trickler and a dial caliper, as well as a few other odds and ends.

A couple possible additions to your library: Hornady's Handbook of Cartridge Reloading (two volumes) is very good, as is Nosler's Reloading guide 5th edition. If you decide to load Sierra bullets you'll want to pick up their reloading guide. Make certain you get the newest, the 5th edition was just released. You can pass on etting Speer's Reloading Manual if you decide to go with the RCBS Rock Chucker kit, they include a copy. Now I've got two!

You may also want to check into reloading instructors at www.reload-nrma.com. An instructor in my area has offered to walk me through the setup and first load, to get me started.

First thing I did was get a good reloading book and read it so you have an idea before you put your money out for something you can' t use. Then check out some gun shops that sell reloading equipmentthey will help you out and lead you in the right dirrection. There are some outher things you will need like a bullett puller if you load hand gun ammo a powder scale and a way to polish your brass so like I mentioned read and talk to your local gun store. Be SAFE!!!!

Go to www.cabelas.com they have a RCBS Supreme Master Reloading Kit (#XP-21-4924) for $259.99. This kit has a newly designed Rock Crusher Supreme Press which accommodates today' s longer magnum cases and is ambidextrous. Good luck.
