I tend toagree, H1000 istoo slow burningfor the light for grain bullets and you'd run into case capacity issues. I'd also start with the 4350's, then maybe 4831'sor RL19.
I loaded some in my 7 rem mag this year for heavier for caliber. I needed to keeping adding powder to get the velocity I wanted, using the chrono as the pressure monitor. I stopped at 72 grs which is6grs over the max from Hogdgon's data 160's, but it was the only way i could achieve 3000fps like other loads I have developed safely in my rifle. I tried itwith the140 tsx and felt it was to slow, accuracy was fine just not up to the MV the faster burning powders give. Low SD though in my somewhat limited experience with it as a propellant. If i were needing to develop a 160 or 175 load in the rem mag I would give it a go but I am so pleased with my 140 and 150 loads that it just turned out to be nothing more then an experiment, at this point at least.
