Used them this year for the first time. Accuracy was good. I shot an 8-point whitetail with them from my 300 Weatherby. The deer dropped instantly.

I have been lucky all my rifles like Barnes X it's the only bullet I use for hunting. Good luck.

Barnes are the best bullets going in my opinion. I am not howere sold on the coated bullets I have read varied reports on weather the coating is worth the extra money. I have shot them both and I really can,t see any difference. Maybe to a pure varmit shooter, they would have a bigger advantage.
