Default Nosler Reloading Manual

I just bought a Nosler reloading manual and the 7mm Ultra Mag isn't listed, i found this odd because the WSM line is there.

Why work when you can hunt???? Heck why work at all!!

It just depends when the manual you have was printed ,maybe the ultra mag wasn't onthe market at that time. Some of my older manuals list guns not found in the newer edition and some of the new ones don't list the older rounds .

Are you referring to the 7mm Remington Short Action Ultra Magnum (SAUM)? If so, go to page 260. I'm presuming that you have the 5th edition.

I bought the 5th addition, thats Nosler's most up to date manual. The 7mm and 300 WSM line came out a few years after the 7mm Ultra Mag not the 7mm SAUM which still came before the two newest WSM's which are in the manul. It lists the 7mm STW then goes right to the .30-30!!! Thats odd because it is Nosler's most recent reloading manual.

Gotcha. Sorry about the confusion. I checked my Speer and Hornady books, the 7mm Ultra Mag isn't in those either. I understand that the new Sierra's 5th edition reloading manual should be hitting the shops this week. Perhaps they'll have data on your cartridge. It can also be found on MidwayUSA.com.

I just picked up Sierra's 5th edition reloading guide. I'm sorry to report that the 7mm Ultra Mag didn't make this guide either.
