Default Range report on the Rem 750

Well I went to the range today... Shot a S!@# load of rounds!!! Shot 50 reloads...

30roundsloaded with the 180gr RN= 1.5-1.75" groups
20 rounds loaded with the 165gr NP= 1.5-1.75" groups
20 rounds factory Win super X 165gr SP 1.75-2.0" groups
20 rounds factory Fed vital shok 150gr SP 1.75-2.0" groups

All the groups were 5 shot...A lotof the groups were 1.0until I shot the 4th and5th round[:@]I think if this gun had a trigger job it would prob shoot a lot better... I did let the barrel cool down some between shots...

Over all I was happy with the groups this gun shot... I'll prob be hunting with the 180gr RN load

Sounds pretty good, definatly will get the job done, as always, reloads shoot better than factory!. How do you like the 750, how would you rate it to the older 7400?

Not bad for a semi. I get 1.5MOA with my 7400. I only shoot 3 rounds. So 5 rounds, your not doing bad.

This is the first Semi that I've owned... So I really cant compare it to the 7400... Although my uncle had a Rem semi auto and let me use it about 20 years ago... I'm not sure what model... But it shot really well... I shot a couple 1" 3 shot groups with it... I think the more I shoot it.The better I will shoot with it...

It really needs a trigger job... Can the triggers on these guns be worked on???

If they are simular to the 870 shotgun trigger and my 7400, and I believe have to be stoned by someone know what they are doing to adjust the trigger. I have tried it myself and ruined a trigger before.
