I working on some for my 300 saum now. If it ever cools down so I can go shoot some. I am trying some IMR 4350 and 180 gr bullets because I was told the 300suam loves this powder and big bullets. After I see how some different loads with these 2 components work I will go from there.
The .300 SAUM is the best kept secret in the shooting world...it is super accurate and unknown...sad part is "BIG GREEN" as usually has virtually pulled the plug on their own design !!! I've tried lots of everything and the one powder that also gives the best is H-4350 ...also if your hunting the 150 partition or X-bullet will kill anything that walks on north american soil...I shoot personally the 150 grain XLC over 64.0 of H-4350 fired by a 9 1/2 mag primer..steep load so be careful, work up to it gradually..it will pass through any deer from any angle period.
