T-REX load for 45 LC?

Don't Flame yet, I have several 44 Mags so I really don't want to strech the Blackhawk out of shape but has anyone loaded something like the Cast Performance 395 grin WFNGC bullets in the LC. I have some 250 grain Hornady XTP's and may pick up a box of Hornady 300 Gr XTP-Mag bullets. I am thinking of AA#9 powder. Any good loads out there?

After a carfull review in my books and notes the heaviest bullet I see is 300 grns .Those loads are for Blackhawk and Contender ONLY . My speer book shows 25000 cup 950 fps with AA#9 . Lyman shows a 295 cast bullet under 800fps No AA#9 . Maybe a 454 Casuall would be a better choice . The Colt has a working pressure of just 18,000 psi ,the 454 was created at 65,000 psi I think it has a SAMMI rating at 50,000 psi

Cast Performance has a 395 Grain LBT style hard cast gas checked bullet for the 452 diameter handguns. Although it is probably made for the bigger 45's, there is one review on them on Midway. Widway and Cabelas handle the bullets but you only get data when you order the bullets. They come with a short list of Data. They come as light as 265 grains and 395 is the heaviest. I already shoot the LC with CAS loads but will load a few stopper loads for it as well. The 45 LC is much like the 45-70 in that it can be loaded to take rabbits to moose and probably even bigger game However its best to not push it to hard. The case is the weak link although the newer cases are made to take advantage of the Strong actions like the Ruger and T/C.
