300 short mag loads

new win coyote in 300 short mag, looking for loads with 180-190 gr bullets. long range hog hunting in mind. any advice is appreciated, ive worked up 2 loads and neither impress me.

gutshot - I don't have a 300 WSM but I do have the 325 WSM. I've been having good luck with RL-19 powder and somewhat less with IMR4831. Cases are identical except for the case mouth dimensions. You can go to the Alliant, IMR, Nosler webpages as well as others and get some reloading data if you don't have any. I have a hunch that RL-22 would work well in the 300 too. Sorry I couldn't be any more help.

I have three 300WSM rifle in my hunting camp. We hunt primarily with Partitions so that's the bullet. The powder of choice for all three rifles is Ramshot Hunter hands down. It produces the best accuracy of all the powders we have tested along with exceptional velocity.
