Default Stoney Point sold?

Couple years ago I had ordered some modified cartridges for the O.A. Gauge. Called Stoney Point direct and ordered what I wanted. No problems.

Since then I have acquired a few new rifles and decided to order some more modified cartridges. Gave them a call and Bushnell answered. Asked about making my order and they gave me a 1-800 number, so I gave them a call and had Hornady at the other end. Made my order but what give.

So Stoney Point is a division of Bushnell and Hornady? When did Bushnell and Hornady become partners? Anyone know when this all happened...?

The Hornady catalog has Stoney Point items but does not mention Bushnell

i dont know who owns them now but i had a problem with some shooting sticks and they upgraded me to better ones rather than fix them. also the butler creek scope caps are under the same name. i bought the wrong ones and they sent me the right ones for free a couple months back. bushnell-stoney point and butler creek are great stand by companies in my book! im only gonna buy more knowing how great there customer service is.

My understanding is Hornady bought the marketing rights for the reloading Stoney Point products, the rest stayed as is but are as mentioned nowa divisionof Bushnell.
