Default looking for 222 brass

i"m having trouble finding brass for my rem. 222 model 712.


no one has heard of a model 712.
does anyone no how old my gun is.

Are you sure your rifle isn't a Model 722...??.. That was the first rifle that the .222 was chambered in...Remington introduced the .222 in thier short action model 722 around 1950, I believe...

I bought one used for $65 around 1964 and still have it...It was my first centerfire rifle..
