Default .17 Rem. Fireball brass

Once I get my hands on a set of dies for the .17 Rem. Fireball, is it possible to make brass for it from factory .221 casings by simply running them into the .17 dies after they have been adjusted to just touch the shoulder of a fired factory round, and then final fire-forming? I haven't seen case dimensions yet,and as I have a bunch of the .221 unfired brass, I'm sure there is probably an easy way to do this. What do you think?

Getting the cases just might be a problem.

I usually neck down to 20 first then down to 17. I know some folks just run them into a 17 sizer but I think they have shoulder issues.

Best place to ask questions about small calibers is at saubier:

Ask over there and I quarantee someone will give you all the how to info.

ShatoDavis----Thanks for the link.....I went there and learned there are some problems, and that from what I understood to be said was that the Mach IV is NOT exactly the same as the .17 Fireball. Close, but not identical, and that there can be neck thickness problems doing what I was wanting to do, but I think that can be overcome.
Thanks for your help.......................
