Default Cleaning the bore, what to do?

Next problem. No matter what I try, I can,t seem to get the bore clean to my satisfaction. I have tried just about every product and method that I have heard of. Please someone give me a real good cleaning method.

Might be lead fouling that most cleaners don't remove easily. May also just be a rough bore.

Kelbro,
I am beginning to believe that I just purchased a new rifle with a not to smooth bore. Wikk JB bore paste or remington bore cleaner with the fine grit help me any. I just clean and clean and cannot seem to get the bore to clean up. I can fire just a few rounds and it is horribly dirty. I mean 6 to 10 rounds and it takes forever to clean the bore. It should not be that difficult. New Savage 112 FLV Heavy 26" barrel

I wouldnt be surprised if shooting the gun may be what helps you to "smooth" out your barrel. Fire some jacketed bullets through it and see if that doesnt help.
