338wm Powder/load for 225gr

338wm/225gr load? Have IMR4350 and RL19 on my shelf and was thinking these two should be a good start. Any thoughts or other suggestions.

I'm using RL19 for my 338 and have great results. I havent tried any other powders yet, but the loads I made with the RL 19 are the most accurate I've ever shot.

My cousin has madeone shot kills on 5 oryx with this load:

Cartridge: .338 Win. Mag.
Case: Winchester
Primer Fed. 215
Bullet: Barnes 225 gr. XFB
Powder: RL-22 MIN: 73.0 grs. VEL: 2782 f/s; MAX: 78.0 grs. VEL: 2919 f/s.

DON'T FORGET TO START AT MIN!!

Skeeter,My standard load for .338WMag is a225gr Hornady/Win brass/Fed mag primer and 74gr of H-4831.Grizzly,moose, elk,black bear and mulies/whitetails have all fallen to this load.[oh yes and one caribou]Harold

Thanks I have H4831 and RL22 as well soI should be GTG once the snow starts to go.
