Default Good load for .223 Rem

Guys...
Here's a pic of my recent trip to the range with my new CZ 527 .223 Rem.
My load was 28.0 grains of W748 with a 50 grain Sierra Blitzking- 22" BBL
I think the pic speaks for itself....

I shoot the same load in my Howa 1500 Varminter, try some bt's or sst's. both shoot the the same point of impact in my gun.

These were shot by me the other day with a CZ 527 in 204 Ruger, they are 100 yard 5 shot groups.....

As a ritual for me I always will go to a range on Super Bowl Sunday and wring out a few loads... I hope to get some good groups with the 204 Ruger, 223 Rem, 6mmx284 and fire forming some 6.5 Gibbs.

I am going to try some Benchmark and AA-2015 with 40 gr Noslers in the 223.

Try 27.7 grains of W748, match Fed Primers and Nosler 50 grian Ballistic tips and you may beat that group, I know my Ruger Varmiter will with this load I shot a 6 shot group in almost a single hole.

Okie,
I'm right there with ya'! I load 28.0 grains of W748 with 50 grain BTips or Blitzkings and the accuracy is always at .5" give or take a few thousanths.
I'm just now trying H225 and BLC-2 with the .223 for comparison. BLC-2 is very good. Just bought a pound of H335 and loaded 'em up the other night. Gotta see how the 335 does before I decide on a pet .223 load.
By the way, you're target groups are excellent!!!
Nice shooting.

358- I shoot the BL-C(2) and really like it in my .223. But I want to try the 335, so please post your results with it.

Thx
