Default I finally bought a press, sheew what a difference.

Well I finally swung by my local White Elephant and dropped the $75 on the Lee Anniversary kit. I already had half of the components that come in the kit, but what the heck, that kit is a steal. I have been reloading for the past 6 months with a Lee Loader (hammer and dies) and with my bad shoulder and neck it was kicking my arse. Man, with this press and the carbide dies (reloading 44 Magnum) it is just sooo easy compared the way I was doing it before. And that perfect power measure, although a bit on the cheap side compared to my pops RCBS one, it still works well and drops accurate loads once it got lubed up. Now I really see no real reason to keep my old Lee Loaders around, time to unload them on somebody wanting to give reloading a try. They did work well for on the cheap, but man the press is truely the way to go. Lol, now I am already thinking of getting a turret press, but I will hold off for awhile.

You occasionally see those Lee Loaders at garage sales - usually for $5 or so. Good reloading equipment is a joy to own and use

I know that I didnt buy top of the line equipment, but I am not a fanatic about it yet. Notice I said yet lol. I have reloaded 50 .44 Magnum rounds so far and it was a breeze, with the old Lee Loader it would have kicked my butt and I would have been hurting from swatting that hammer to get the crimp on those buggers. So far I am likeing the Lee Carbide dies too. Pretty easy to set up and no lubing.
