Default Anybody know where there is some RL12?

I had several kegs of Reloader 12, one of my favorite powders for .308 and .223, and ran out recently. To my surprise, Alliant quite making this powder afew years ago. [] If anyone runs across some in a gun store, please let me know. Thanks. Roskoe.

Hey Roskoe, have you tried Reloader 10x ? I was wondering if it is an up grade from Reloader 12.

I was told that there is not much difference in burn ratebetween Reloader-12 & Reloader-15? Am I wrong?
I have used Reloader-10 in a 223 with great results.

RL10 is a little quicker. I have heard some folks using it in the 6MM PPC as well as the .222 Remington with good results. But I have a number of pet loads that call for RL12. It has always been my "go to" powder for the .308 Winchester.

I hear your frustration, Roskoe. I pretty much stopped using Winchester powder because they kept changing the line so often.

My favorite powder for pheasant loads was W571. They quit making that.

My favorite powder for trap loads was WSL. They quit making that.

My favorite powder for .40 S&W and 9mm was WAP. They quite making that.

At least they still make W296........for now anyway.
