Default .35 Rem T/C

Hi all I'am new to this forum and need some help on loading for a Contender in .35 Rem Cal., such as loading data. I load for this Cal. in a rifle, but assume the data is different for a pistol. Also, do I need a different bullet seater for spitzer type bullets than what I use for 200 gr. round nose bullets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.[>:]

I can't remember offhand who it's from, I'll take a look around here to see if I can't find it, but there is a book put together with loading dataspecifically for the Contender...If I find it I'll update

You will probably not have to replace your seater die just the seater plug to seat a SP bullet. Contact your die manufacture for the plug.

(NOTE) I don't know if you can find the Barnes 200 gr. XFB, but you can use the Barnes 200 gr. TSX FB.

Found that book, the cover is ripped off(KIDS!!) so unfortunately I don't know who it's by. It's basically just a compilation of loading data from numerous manuals anyway, nice to have though. I used to have a Contender : a .222 rem 14" and a .357maximum 10"...that .222 would put 5 shots in an inch, with factory ammo. I'd suggest using loads out ofa manual that are for the faster powders, of course starting low and working up. I believe you should only neck size, provided brass has only been fired in your gun; there's not much of a shoulder on the .35 case and that might prevent any headspace issues
