6.5 x 284 LOADS
I just ordered a new 26 inch Encore barrel I have been looking for some good loads. I ordered two boxes of 120 grain Ballistic Tips. The rifle will be used for ground hog hunting, and some fixed position deer hunting. My goal isan accurate 300 to 500 yard round. I use my 223 out to 300 yards, and 500 isa long shot in the fields that we hunt. And 500 yards is a long shot for me. This is my first 6.5-so I am open to anything. Tom.
