Default RE: reloading the 260 rem?

My deer/hog round is a Sierra 120 gr Pro Hunter, with 42 grains' of IMR 4064 @ 2875 fps. Also shoot 85 gr Sierra hollow point with 43.4 grains of RL 15 @ 3100 fps.
This year my wife tried 120 gr Barnes TSX with 40 grains of N150 at 2825 fps. She killed two very nice bucks and a few does with it.
My favorite 260 loads are with lighter bullets. Doesn't make much sense to me to fire a super long 140 grain bullet at less than 2600 fps from a 260 Rem, when I can launch the same weight bullet @ 3000 fpswithmy 7mm-08, or 308's. Hell I get more velocity out of a 150 gr 308 in a 16" XP100 than I do from my 260 rifle with 140 gr bullets. I wish barnes or Sierra would make 110 grain .264 bulletdesigned for deer.

Another note: Brass is an issue. Remington is all that's available unless you buy Federal loaded ammunition. Rem brass is very brittle and quality is poor.
Nosler promises me they're going to produce 260 Rem brass in 2007. That should change things quite a bit.
