Default Lyman Beam Scale

Hey guys,

I called Lyman customer service and they are willing to swap the 1000XT Electronic Scale for any Mechanical Beam Scale of my choosing.

Which of the Lyman Mechanical Beam Scales would you choose?

BTW - I thought there customer service was great!

I have found that there are a total of four Lyman Beam scales
500
1000
Pro 500
Pro 1000

The pro-models seem to be built on a high impact styrene. The 1000's are capable of measuring to 1005 gr.

So which one?

I cant' believe you havn't found a taker on a trade

I would go with the pro500 or pro1000. I never saw the need for more than 500gr of measurement unless for archery.

Oh I miss read. Yeah I was pretty surprised about that. Especially since the electronic scale is $120 and the manual scale is about $70. I figured someone had to have an extra.

Lyman is taking care of it so I'm good.
