Most factory ammo seems likeits crimped in pretty good.If it wasnt to tight-maybe?
On bottleneck cases seems you could also crush down& buckle the cases /necks maybe to.
But i dont know- im sure someone else here will.

My experience is you can, "if" they aren't crimped so hard you deform something trying. Also, sometimes once you move them they don't have as much neck tension as they did before.
Just curious because most factory loads don't seem like they have 2bullets in a box the same length
You can't measure the length by the tips unless they are Bullistic tips or accubonds and still maybe off. You need a ogive tool from sinclair or stoney point to measure the length at the point that makes contact with the barrel.
the factory loaded 115 gr bst's for the 25 wssm's are about .012" to long for the mag in my dtech built 25 wssm AR-15, I just seated them a lil deeper, they worked fine the few times I did it.
