Default powder burn rates

Does anyone know of a good online list of powder burn rates for all common mfr's? I did a quick search, but didn't find what I was looking for. Just wondering, not particularly pertinent info -- thanks -

Try this one.

You can learn a lot from Steve Ricciardelli's pages!~!

Excellent info for the re-loader. Thanks.

I notice as you choose your caliber and bullet weight, the powder is highlighted. Is this what's recommended?

I don't know if steve has changed his ways, but he used to just dump data on his page. From any source. some of it for sure was what I considered low powered and didn't take in context teh bullet, and some just dangerous.

I suggest going toa real source.

Be very, very, very careful of information gleemed from the Internet. There is no accountability and little or no reliability. Go buy yourself a bunch of reloading books. You can get hurt or killed with this stuff so keep that in mind. Hodgdon's site is reliable, in my mind anyway.

I said "you can learn a lot" from Steve's pages. I did not suggest that the loads he publishes relieves anyone from the responsibility to work up loads for one's own individual gun!

Reloading manuals don't do this, either!

Burn rates are available from Hodgdon's and IMR powder and alliant as well.

I wouldn't be too concerned with this data as it's not used for reloading but rather to help find a powder to use.

As to internet data I asked a moderator to delete a post the other day when one poster gave a load for 300 grain bullets for the .375 H&H mag that produced over 3,000'/sec. Ya just got to know this is pure bull****!!!

Be very careful about private loading data on the internet and especially from those claiming extreme valocities. The Ackley Improved crowd especially are great for pure baloney.
