Default A REFRESHING Report

I wanted to make a very refreshing report to our web site members...it seems that now days that we are all in a hurry ..and few of us ever take the time to really go out of our way to help someone in need ... but I would like to report to you that is NOT ALWAYS the case. I posted a request on this forum back about a month ago that I would like to find someone to help me with reloading 270 ammo ...that is what I hunt with and I know really nothing about reloading but needed a round that would be accurate out to 300 yards and have enough punch to knock down a 350lb whitetail buck ... I will be hunting Alberta this coming year ... I had a man that I am sure is well known on this forum send me a PM and offer his service and knowledge ... he talked with me on the phone and then proceeded to order and make me some ammo to shoot from my old Belgium Browning F/N Mauser .... I just got the first batch today and plan on trying to shoot some this weekend ..I just wanted to commend him for his help, interest and sharing his knowledge with an old man like me...there is really nothing in it for him other then the appreciation of an old hunter... butnot many would would take the timedo that ..now I will not mention his user ID as I am sure he would prefer me not to but I will just say THANK YOU Mark ...guys like you are what make this forum so worth while ...and makes our sport a great fraternity!

There are a lot of guys in here willing to help. But unfortunately like in every crowd you have the ones who think they know everything or what they say is the only way. Most of us will make suggestions and offer advice. We all could learn something in here and this is a great place to exchange information. I know I have learned a few things in here.
Glad you found someone who helped you out.

I have come across a few guys on this site that have been very helpful in information or issues I"™ve had. This is a forum that has some great members and a few of them have disappeared over the years but all I can say is keep up the good work and thanks...
