I have been shooting a max load of H1000 behind a nosler 140 BT, shoots well in my rifle, I wanted to try some 160 accubonds so I loaded up with a max load (for my rifle) of 95 gr of wc872 and got right at 3200 fps. wc872 is a surplus ball powder that uses H870 or AA8700 data, and its 5 bucks a pound.
soon as the weather breaks and time permits I'll check this load for accuracy.

I have been using imr-7828 behind a 140gr ballistic tip.The results are 1/2" groups on average and 3500fps out of 26" barrels.

I have been having good luck with 74gr of 7828 and 160gr Accubond. Not sure of speed yet.

Went to the range today and got .7MOA (1.4") at 200 yards with 74gr but start getting flyers with 75gr. At 200 yards I got 3" groups with 75gr.

I made a big mistake first time I posted. I put 78gr instead of 75gr. Sorry if anyone loaded for it. 78 might be dangerous. I corrected my post.

If you get a certified letter from the Law Offices of Cheatham and Howe, don't sign for it.

You crack me up. That was funny. By the way, for anyone trying that load, my real name is Johnhoehandle, and I really don't live in MD, I live in Iowa.
