Default 30 Cal 190 gr Hornady????

My 300 RUM loves this bullet and according to Hornady it can be safely driven to 3200 fps out of it. My question...

Has anyone ever used this bullet on big(ger) game? How did it react on tough hides/hard angles?
I am not talking about texas heart shots here. I know it is not A Barnes TSX

I believe the 190 grain Hornady is the standard Interlock? If so, I would use it on deer and such, but would probably pass on the bullet for elk and the like just because of the fact that at 3200 FPS, you could run into problems at close range. Should be really good for longer shots because of the longer length of the bullet.

It is one excellent bullet. I have used it on all big game everywhere. Its plenty tuff for use in elk and bear. Most of my use of this bullet however has been with the 308. I started using them for Steel silhouettes but it shot so well that I started using it for all of my 308 shooting. I could load it to 2500 FPS. I have used it in the 300 Win Mag as well. Its an under used bullet which deserves more recognition.
