What do you think is the best bullet? Why? These are some of the bullet styles that I'm familiar with: AP, FMJ, JSP, JHP, Lead RoundNose.. That's pretty much it lol.
But, my opinion, JHP.. Prolly cuz I've only shot JHP and FMJ ...
There is no best. They are all made with an intended purpose...and most fill that purpose nicely.
If I had to have one bullet only, for the rest of my life, I'd take a polymer tipped BT or Partition.
