I was wondering if anyone has tried doing this yet and what the results were?

I am currently working up .30-06 loads with 168Gr bullets and Varget. So far I have found the loads to fire as if there were 2 Grains less in the brass. My max load for this wt bullet is 50.5 Varget. I am prepared to go to 52.5 if needed.
The insert in my Barnes package states that it is OK to use "X" bullet data.
I just hadn't ever heard of anyone using the 200g tsx's in the 30-06. I was concerned that you may not muster enough velocity for the bullet to expand because of how you would have to seat the long bullet? Just thought I would look for a few opinions.

I also wonder what the recommended twist rate is at 06 velocities.
I have used 200 gr. Barnes XFB in my .30-06 Sprg. with a 22" barrel using RL-19. My velocities were 2,600 f/s, and obtained .75" three shot group at 100 yds. This load wasis a back-up for elk. Good luck.
