can anyone tell me what might be a good seating depth on the seirra game king 130gr off the lands on a .270wsm? Where is a good place to start? Thanks.
Hawg Man - for a hunting round, I wouldn't want to seat a bullet as close to the lands as .003. I would stay back .010 to .020 - there are too many variables in the process to risk problems in the field at the "moment of truth". Good luck. Roskoe

I'd start by loading the bullet one diameter deep assuming that allows the cartridge to be loaded to the magazine. See where your groups are and adjust from there.
While most reloaders try to load close to the lands of the rifling this isn't at all a requirement for accuracy.
