i'm thinking about starting to reload and was thinking about getting a lee anniversary kit. well i did a search on the lee kit on google and came across this site and figured i'd share the link with anyone else looking to start reloading as well.

I prefer Lee's turret press. You can put all your dies in the turret at one time, and either allow it to rotate to perform all the operations on a single case, or disable the rotation and do it by hand. Costs a bit more than a single stage press but turrets are cheap, and you can keep one for each cartridge you load. [8D]

Wow, he's been reloading 10 whole years, huh?

Not bad information, really, but doesn't mention the turret presses available, as posted above. Faster than a single stage, and less money than a progressive.
Don't agree with the comments about Lee equipment not being capable of long term use. Depends on the operator...how many months or years will it take you to hit the 10,000 round mark? Lee aluminum presses won't last as long as a cast iron model from RCBS or others, but will last the average handloader a long, long time. If and when it wears out, replace it!

I've had my press for nearly 30 years and had to replace the index ball once. total cost $1.00. I have to admit I haven't loaded much in the last 10 years, a couple of boxes of .260 Rem. some 9mm and some .44 special, maybe 1000 rounds total. Muzzle loadin' don't require as much equipment.

Yeah, cabellas has that set for 67 bucks I think. I am trying to bamboosle my wife into getting it for me for my B-day. Seems good to me! I have used lee dies before and they work just dandy! For less money than RCBS, you get a set of dies that includes a re-sizing collet. RCBS dont. EJ
