Default Appreciation from Chuck

I know many of our Bible scholars would love to go to town on these verses in our Bible studies. Thank you for allowing me to keep it simple. If you want to run with something, please take it to another post. I want to make it as simple as I can for me and the new guys. I can see your already doing that. That is love and I appreciate that and I believe our Lord does too. I also will not slant the gospel. It will stay simple and concrete. When there are multiple opinions we will list them all and demonstate maturity.Have a nice evening.
Chuck
PS For you new Christians. Some of these folks study the Greek etc.and enjoy splitting hairs. Enter those post with caution.LOL

Brother Chuck thanks for the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) approach in this.

I will be the first to admit 2 things, #1 I am far from a Bible Scholar, and #2 I have found that the basics of the Gospels are simple and pretty straight forward, but there are parts that are very difficult to understand.

I have found in reading the Bible that all of the important points are repeated over and over again to (IMHO) prevent them from being lost in translation or mis translation. If I find 10 verses that say basically the same thing and one that appears to possibly say something different, well you know.

Your welcome brother. If your going to start doing the kissing stuff,I'd better grow the beard back. Down here in Florida it is too darn hot for beards. Actually I believe we are supposed to keep it simple.I had much more faith before I went to college. I was warned of that. They were right. Sometimes were to darn smart for our own good.
C ya ,
Chuck

I recognized that too Martin about how the verses are repeated. I just finisheds the new testament and getting ready to start the old. I figure the more times I read it that each time I'll understand it a lil better and pick new stuff out that I didn't catch onto the first time I read it.

I usually read the Old Testament in an easier version. It can be very hard to keep up when you start going through the many geneologys.
