Default Last Days?

Some time back Taz asked me if I thought we were living in the last days. I said yes. I believe we have been in the last days since A.D. 70. I'll add more of my beliefs after some of you respond. There's so much about the "last days" from books to T.V. shows out there nowadays. What are y'alls thoughts about the "last Days" and why do you believe it the way you do? Let's all be respectful of eachothers beliefs and give the benefit of the doubt before you say something that you'll have to ask for forgiveness for later!

Trae, Gotta pick up students from PE in 9 minutes ,so I gotta be fast.
1. Daniel .....Increasing of knowledge at our finger tips.

2. Earthquakes everywhere

3. Sin at all time worst, abortions, in the millions TV LUST Everywhee

4. 2Tim3 ...characteristics of the 2005 attitudes.Highminded lovers of pleasures instesd of God.

5. Children disobedient to parents{ that is an understatement}
6. and still living as in the days of Noah like all is well.

ALL IS NOT WELL .WE NEED TO LIVE IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE ARE NOT AFRAID TO WITNESS. OUR LOVE SHOULD PRODUCE A SINCERE CARING THAT FOLKS ARE LOST AND GOING TO HELL. WHEN WE LIVE IN THE CARNAL REALM WE ARE ONLY FOCUSED ON OURSELVES.

Hummmmmmmmmm...... you know being a history buff and a follower of Christ, I can see where some would beleive with the way things are today that it may appear we are in the last days, of course depending on when one feels the last days began, like Brother Goose who said "I believe we have been in the last days since A.D. 70." Which to be honest is correct taking it to an extreme. Here is my take.

From my understanding of what will be happening in the last days, we are no where near the deprevity or atrocities fortold in scripture. Historically society as a whole has gone through cycles of morality, to atrocoties, leading to immorality back to morality. I feel right now we are in a down hill swing, but can still see the cycle possibly repeating again as it has numerous times since Christ.

Think of some of the natural disasters in the past involving floods, earthquakes and volcanoes. There was Krakatoa that was literally blown of the face of the earth in addition to another Island in the Medditeranean that was almost obliterated a long time ago. There have been earthquakes and floods in the past that have made the ones of today pale in comparison of deaths.

Do not get me wrong, the last days could be in the final stages now, but I don't think we are there yet, but bretheren we must always be prepared for we know not when the hour comes.

Brother Trae, Yes! A man has to be blind or ignorant not to see the way this
world is going. A big degeneration at a fast rate. Myself, family and friends should
be ready to believe the bible and have faith now, because it's comming soon,IMHO.

Really? Why? I think we've been in the last days since A.D. 70 when the destruction of Jerusalem was inflicted by the Roman army. I don't think we all think of the last days in the same way though! As I read your posts it just is kinda occuring to me. I'll get back to y'all tomarrow about it, there's a little girl here who wants to play right now, but I got to get her in bed!!!! Time to singa few songs, this is one of the best parts of being a Dad! God bless all, good night!
