Dear Friends,

This forum is properly named. I would not want any person off of the street to read these post and say here is an example of Christianity. No, this is an example of religion. To my understanding Christianity looks like the following....
Galations 5..22,23But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,f aith, meekness, and temprance.

Any other attitude is worldly religion. It has some Christian elements like the right lingo ,Bible verses and even confesses Jesus. However ;this religion cannot bear the fruit of the Spirit.

"But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another," Gal.5.15

Taz,
The Lord has given me a word in my heart.I know it's from Him because nearly all have ostracized me.I have sent e-mails to some and posted non-arguementive posts with no replies.Religion loves to have its own way and argue. I am very sad and happy at the same time.Remember why Paul was beaten stoned and imprisoned. "The religious could flat out not recieve the simple message of faith." All of the disciples appeared to be devoted to Jesus, but when He really needed them, they all fled. And He still loves them. And I still love all of these. Thank you for replying Taz.You are a gentleman.

Taz,
To give you an example of this let me share with you what happened yesterday morning as quick as i can. After a sweet family home Bible study I went to a nearby lake.I met a man named Issac. He was 56 and of a pentecostal religion. At first all was well.I had already committed myself of giving him free guitar lessons and taking him out in my boat this week. He insisted I change to his denonmination.Through the conversation I learned he was losing the respect of his 13 year old son/thus on his way to jail.I said,Issac your ministry is not to be witnessing to other Christians, your ministry is your son in your home."He started crying .From then on our fellowship got better.
PS while talking I hooked a couple too.LOL

Chuck,
I agree with your point completely! I hope that I have done everything in love and in the spirit of truth. I would never want to hurt anyone or turn them away from Jesus. I really appreciate the love that comes from your posts, you are a peacekeeper and a loving servant of God. No matter what; faith in God has it's reward. OUr faith is in the same God and Father, even though we disagree somtimes about various things, we all love God and His way. Thank you for being a wonderful influence on all of us.

Chuck no doubt, you have been an influence on me and I hope everyone else here, I truly think that I have learned somethings from our forum, and I agree, sometimes the most important element of being a christian is swept under the rug and thats LOVE. God Bless you and yours.

Chuck you have brought something to this forum that has been sorely needed by myself and others. The love of Christ! I watch us bicker about this verse, that beleif, etc., etc., in some ways it is done in love and a want for people to follow the right path, other times it is nothing but "I am going to prove I am right"!

We all need to take a step back and rather then say "I am right because verse so and so says this!", to say something to the effect of "I beleive this because verse so and so says this." If some one feels differently they should either ask something like, "Have you looked at verse so and so? To me it indicates something different."

If some one comes out and says, "We/I do this", try and instead of saying that is wrong or non-Biblical simply ask them why.

I have said the above as a Christian and not as a mod, as a mod I am not going to stop debate, I will however step in if someone is downgrading the beliefs of others, bashing a particular religion or denomination, and of course any other HNI rules.

Oh my .What an awesome bunch of hunters.Last week I was fasting and praying about our problem.Fact with all the intellect, and spititual knowledge I could muster up I found no earthly way that we could be of one accord. SO I fasted and my wife and I have been praying. And I felt in my heart there is a way. 1 Cor.13 says "Love believeth ALL things." Therefore if I believe Trae, LBR, Strut,Taz.Leaf ,Snooky etc.etc. are saved and going to heaven I have no more arguement.Fact I have never had so much peace and joy in my life. This argueing actually has worked together for good. I'm even having self control with my over eatting.Judge not ,and you will not be judged.Even after the tears of the black man as he started to get in his car he started up again.I hugged him and said with a smile,Get out of here man and straighten that boy of yours up." I believe we can be very creative and come up with some awesome edifying post. I know argueing brings spice but folks let's strive to be at peace one with another. Your replys were very precious.
Have a wonderful day,
Keep Strut's wife ,Dennis and Robert Hirt in prayer.Who knows what might happen if we get in one accord.
Chuck
