Default RE: Guardian Angels ?

Ok I know of one verse that seems to emply that we have an angel. It's the Matt. 18 chapter about offending a brother.'See that you do not look down on one of these little ones .For I tell you that their ANGELS in Heaven always see the face of my father in Heaven. that is the only verse I know that may give an inclination of an angel. I don't pray to angels or serve them. I believe when a man/woman serves God he/she is in the palm of His hand. John 10

Where did you get your info at ? Are you sure that you have the right verse quoted on Seraphim (Isa 6:12)? I'm still on this study but havn't had any real time to devote to it.
Just something I got interested in a while back and have read through several books to find out this info. I hope the verse's I quoted are correct, but may not be. I'll double check to make sure.

I am far from being an expert on angels at all, but I do know that there were Books of the Torah/Old Testament that years before Christ were deemed by the Rabbis of old to not be totally scriptural that go into great detail on the different types of angels, because they were deemed non-scriptual by the Rabbis of old they were dropped from the Torah/Old Testament, but the dropped books still exist in Jewish writings.

And yes as farmcntry mentioned there were either 9 or 10 different types of angels, I do not recall which ones were the "Closest" to God, but I do recall a "ranking system for lack of a better word.
