I have a prayer request. We adopted an alcoholsyndrome boy 13 years ago. He is 14 now. I need wisdom from above on dealing with his defiant behavior. I've done everything I know from paddlings, gifts of love, loss of priviledges, believing for miracles, fasting, daily Bible studies, Christian school . He's only getting worse. We have to lock up our pets because he has killed 3 of our animals. Please pray. His name is Aaron.
A little frustrated,
Chuck
I have a daughter my wife and I adopted that was a coke baby. Thank the good Lord she has not had major problems with it. But it is frustrating. All I can say is pray, pray, pray. We have also had her going to a thearapist. It has help us understand more about the situation and how to handle it. It is tought, keep your chin up brother. Ill be praying for you.

My prayers go out to all of you who are raising children in need of a better home situation, I am learning the pain and heartache that can come from trying to do the right thing for a child in need first hand, I pray that you alls heartaches will be few and far between and that the children you are raising come out all right. You are all special people who will blessed many times.

Cool Chuck
Sounds like you are a jack of all trades.

As for the child, you have got my prayers. I just keep adding to the list, the Lord knows all situations. I can say, the adoption of my two daughters has been the greatest thing to every happen to me. I am having some frustrating times with my oldest, due to the problems she had before we got her, but nothing I cant handle. I always remember, the Lord will not give us more than we can handle. My oldest daughter is troubled with an attachment disorder. Not that big of a deal, other than a self controle issue. They are with me most all the time, and I tend to be more patient than my wife, so i feel that is why the Lord set it up this way. She is comming along leaps and bounds. Im just very happy that the problems she has is it. It could have been so much worse.

Science Teacher,
I literally was in 1980. I maintained 1500 apartments in D.C. It ws a 15 story highrise. If your talking about teaching your right. My favorite by far is 3rd grade. The students are still quite innocent and can learn a ton. My adopted son really gets more on my wife's nerves than mine. Like you ,being a teacher I've seen alot worse. Three years ago I had a kid that almost made me quit teaching. That's when I moved to regular education. The Lord has really been with me or I would have quit along time ago.

I have a prayer request.
Someone has got a hold of my son's debit card numbers and has charged 2400 dollars to his account. he only had 700 dollars in the account so I dpon't know how it happened. The police is investing the matter and the bank will let us know in 48 hours if they will cover the fraud or not. He only makes. He only works in a sub shop for minimal wage and this is quite a burden. His name is Andrew.
Thanks for your prayers.
Chuck

Chuck I have said a prayer for your son, if I am not mistaken there is a limit to the amount of money he is liable for as long as he reports it.

Thank you Taz,

That is only one of a few things that have happened. I'm presently examining my heart before God . I know he is very forgiving ,I also know I have not been giving Him my best. As a dad I always feel responsible for my family. The Lord chastens those he loves. I'm repenting right now .
Have a wonderful day.
Chuck

Sorry to hear that. Hope the cops find the creep.

I always look at hard times like this, " if it werent for hard times, we wouldnt know how great the good times are."
