I do struggle with this at times.... Being in the criminal justice field I see a lot of the bad, and then you start seeing trends. It makes you look at certain people differently than you do others. I struggle to try and see people the way God wants me to, rather than through the eyes of the world. It is difficult when you see the bad day in and day out. But your testimony is encouraging.

God has really upped my thoughts on love...I have a neighbor who likes to fish with me but hates that I'm in front of the boat.I mostly flip and pitch ..which isn't that hot for the guy in the back of the boat..

I do car duty everyday at my school .Yesterday while on duty the Lord reminded me of the verses in matt.5."Give to him that asketh of thee and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away."

I struck out deer hunting this year.I had a couple of guys begging me to take them.I didn't want to show them my spots..Th eLord spoke ot my SPirit this morning and said.."Maybe the outcome would have changed if I would have thought about others first..and diffently concerning Kevin..let him sit in front of the boat." we are called to serve..

John 12;24 he that would save his life shall lose it..but he that will lose his life shall find it..and where my servant is is where I am.

Summary..this year I am aiming to serve..not to focus on winning but to focus on others..and to be the best selfless husband I can be..I've heard the message and plan to act upon it..Real Life is activated when we choose to put others first.
