Default Todays Bible Verse, September 29, 2011

On life's road, crucial decisions are like intersections that call for a choice of direction. If we barrel through without seeking the mind of Christ or meditating on His word for direction, the road we pick may lead to regret and heartache.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

To wait for the Lord means to pause for further instruction while remaining in the present circumstance. It is a purposeful, expectant focus on God — a choice to be actively still and quiet in our hearts, listening for His voice and watching for His intervention. The wait is not for events to work out as we want, but rather for God's will to be done. Remember, God sees the big picture for our lives. Areyou settling for what is good or what is easiest for you, or are you waiting for the best God has to give you?

An important verse in my life currently. Graduating college this next spring and the job market often looks hopeless, but I know He has a plan somewhere. Thanks Reb.
