Default No matter where you are God loves you

I was in a Gander Mountain store today and I noticed a family with two small children, a boy and a girl. I really didn't pay any attention to them until I saw the boy had wandered away from the rest of the family and was looking in a room with some mounted animals. Suddenly I hear a small female voice crying out "Jacob, Jacob where are you." She said it several times in a very urgent voice. Finally she cried out one last time "Jacob, no matter where you're at, we love you." I thought that must be how the Heavenly Father feels when we wander away. He cries out for us and when we don't answer right away, He says "no matter where you're at, I love you."

Blessings.....Pastorjim

So true! It is so calming/reassuring knowing that He will always be there. Us as followers of Christ should feel an obligation & a want for everyone to feel this reassurance that we get to experience.

Amen brother Jim ..reminds me of this verse..

"He leaveth the 99 that have no need for repentance and seeketh the one who went astray until he finds it.'

So true. That same road still leads me back to Calvary. The Father is standing in the doorway looking for a glimps of the prodical, waiting to welcome him back into the fold. The Son had laid aside his robe, lost the ring he once word as a son, Give him another robe! Put another ring on his finger. Don't chasten him, kill the fatted calf, ect. There is joy in all of heaven at the return a lost sheep that had gone astray.
