So do the rest of Churches, IMO.

But only those who Know Yeshua are saved.

I listened to Adrian this morning..we went fishing..ut oh.{ - ; but before we left we heard a message. There is an Adrian Rogers webpage that send a new message every weekend...I've never heard Tony Evans..I'll check him out..

I like Adrian because his knowledge hasn't come from a commentary or another brother..it's from his own expereinces...and you can tell from his knowledge that he has been with Jesus..

PK...checked out OTny Evans..appears like a real good preacher..we will check him out...

I try not to follow denomination or preachers, like I said before until I got blindsided from Snooky; I can glean something from just about everyone EXCEPT from the cults!

I like Adrian and Tony as well, I’m just not a follower of any man. I spent many, many years as a Southern Baptist and left because of theological views.

As far as once saved, I don’t believe that you can be saved one minute and by a stupid act be lost the next! I’m not going to argue this, if you think you have to earn your way into heaven go ahead and knock yourself out trying to be good enough to earn you a spot, but as for me and my family we will depend on His grace alone.

I just finished watching the clip. I didn't see any reference to the title of this thread.
Never the less, I am an Independent Baptist and I DO believe that if you were ever TRULY saved, you remain saved (NOT saying you will always act like it). I'm pretty much in Rev's camp on this.

Snooky has not even made a post on this thread "blindsided from Snooky"??

I have known Baptist folks who like Pentecostals and others, that run the full scale of doctrines. Many Baptist hold the once saved, always save view, but not all. Most don't handle serpents, but a few do. No many hold to the old "Serpent Seed Doctrine" but a few still do. Not many baptist demand long sleeves and floor length dresses, But some do. An increasing number of Baptist are returning to the "Tongues" experience, which had almost disappeared from the Baptist ranks.
I don't think that there is any group that we can say that they "all" believe exactly the same. I would be very interested in knowing what percentage of the denomations actually believe the articals of faith adopted by their organizations.

Several years ago I found a book that was basically a directory of denomination in the U.S. This was probably 20 years ago, maybe longer, and at that time they had over 50 different Baptist denominations listed.

FWIW, I don't know of any religion that teaches you can work your way into salvation. I know of at least one that gets accused of such pretty often, but it's a false accusation.
