The Church commemmorates certain days for various saints, but Valentines Day would be more properly termed a Hallmark Holiday.

Try not to get too uptight. Constipation can be uncomfortable.

Saint Valentine was a saint/martyr..The Emperor , Claudis 11 had a hard time recruiting young male Romans for the army..so he banned marriage..In secret, Saint Valentine would marry the couples anyway...and was executed for disobeying the emperor.
