Evolution Vs Creation= no argument

Been on a few religious and political forums, excluding Fundie nonsense, so far the following has pretty much shut down the non believers in their tracks.

Maybe mentioned here before, but thought I'd toss it out.

Works good to silence the non believers at the water cooler at work too (when this subject comes up).

1. I as a mere mortal do not know how long one of God's days is/was.
2.The Bible was written to be timeless in application and understanding- to a wide range of inellects and various levels of technical knowledge- some of it is symbolic.

If not symbolic then people would get hung up on a minor issue and not continue the travel through the pages.

3. Adam and Eve were simply the first of God's creations to have souls.


All of the above allows for a mixture of creation and evolution, so there is no argument.

Those that don't want to believe in God or Christ need find another scapegoat

Do you believe in Santa Clause?

God is the same thing. Only your parents let you know Santa wasn't real.

Problem is, humans are stupid. (Notice I didn't use the word ignorant)

Man, you need to learn to rationalize.

Rationalization is the key to understanding the world we live in.

Superstitions, and witchery is no way to live.

Learn to rationalize, and learn to be a better human.

Ok, I like that. Rationalize. So, everything has a start and finish. How is space infinite? If you took off in a spaceship with unlimited time and fuel, would you ever hit the end of space? How is that possible? How did all this begin? How long ago? What was before that? Yea, you seem to got it all down.

While I agree with LBR. I am fascinated by people that roll into here with what they believe as facts , and understanding of creation . While the reality is, they have been told what to think , and how to think , and seem unable to get their mind out of the box that it has been placed in.

My Bible says:

Genesis 1:14 - God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to seperate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years"

Genesis 1:24 - God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures"

Genesis 1:26 - God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;"

Genesis 1:27 - God created man in His own image, in the image of GOD He created him; male and female He created them"



NOW...For the life of me I do not understand WHY the debates between Creationism and Evolution because - To me God clearly has stated He created BOTH man and the process of evolution!

Scientist have identified and document the process of evolution - Just like God said.

AND cannot find the “missing link” because there’s not one – Just like God said!

As to the timing of all of what God did, scientist are still trying to figure this out. Maybe one day they will - But I think not, because God is TIMELESS and they don't and probably won't ever grasp the concept of timeless.

who says you cant beleive in both?
i believe god is responsible for evolution.

one issue not covered in darwins evolution
is in survival,
evolution doesnt acct for why creatures are willing to risk their own lives to protect their young,
if its all about survival, they wouldnt put themselves at such risk.

I have no problem with folks believing one or the other (Creation or Evolution) but to declare one the truth and deny the other, when as I pointed out in my opening post that the two can possibly coexist, well that's showing an agenda.
