How does one know if they have completed the whole process?
Salvation is a matter of conscience. Its not a matter of a one way ticket to heaven. If we have salvation the hand of God is upon us and keeps us. If we dont have a clear conscience which is something we have to be very honest with ourselves about then we dont have salvation. Its why Jesus said stop sinning or something worse may happen to you. If you have salvation you will be safe from evil and harm. If you have salvation you can go into battle and have 1000 bullets pass by you and be kept by the power of God. If your conscience is not clear you dont have God's protection because sin creates emnity between.
The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear!

Sarge...there is not any chance that I can persuade you on this topic or vise versa.. I find many verses to support both sides...If you feel comfortable in your relationship with Christ..I certainly don't want to try and shake your faith..
The Word says,"Let every man work out his own salvation with fear and trembling." I do beleive that I am a Christian..but I also examine myself daily .
Sarge..what I am seeing with you is the problem with denonminations..anything that doesn't fit into the fundamental statements of truths...have to be twisted to fit in..I thank God I don't belong to a denonmination.

Because how we percieve the word "believe" and how God views it are different.
How was Noah and other prophets decleared righteous by believing? By their acts of obedience!
faith, obedience and believing are all related in the Word of God.

Santification in the greek biblical useage means purification! So if we are to be purified how do we do that? By the cleansing Word of God!

We take the Word of God and do what it says and it purifies and cleanses us making us ready for the bridegroom!
