Does it really matter where the Trinity Doctrine started. We as humans cannot fully understand the mind of God.
What we need to be concerned with is - The Godman, Jesus Christ, 100% God and 100% man left heavens glory to be born of a virgin, walked among men and lived a sinless life. He died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried, but was raised again the third day for our justification. Believe it and have eternal live.
Again, He was 100% God, 100% man. Was God still in heaven? Yes. Was God on earth in the form of man? Yes.
Again, it is impossible for our human mind to comprehend this.
Hey Sarge; Good to see that your still around. I was afraid that you had rocked off into the sunset. How have you been?
As usual I agree with MOST of your post, but being the nitt-picker that I am, suffer me a couple of question, points to concider, ect.
Does it really matter where the Trinity Doctrine started. We as humans cannot fully understand the mind of God.
IMO it means a great deal where any doctrine originates as we are warned to contend for "The Faith" not any faith. There is "good doctrine" and then there is "False doctrine". There is "The doctrine of God", and then there is what is called in the scriptures, "doctrines of devils". A workman that needeth not be ashamed, is a workman who has studied to show himself approved unto God, having rightly divided the word of truth. Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth.
Can one be sanctified without the truth? Ye shall know "The Truth" and the knowledge of that truth shall set you free. John said, I have no greater joy than to see thy children walking in the truth. Strive to enter into the strait gate, for strait is the gate, and narrow is the way that leades to life.
We may not understand all the things of God, but does that excuse us from all responsability to strive for the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus? Does lack of knowledge justify, or condemn us? Isn't His people destroyed for the lack of knowledge? Behold the days come saith the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land. Not a famine for bread to eat, nor water to drink, but for hearing the word of the Lord. Darkness shall cover the land and gross darkness the people. BUT in Goshen there shall be light. Walk in the light as ye have light lest that light become darkness.
What we need to be concerned with is - The Godman,(singular) Jesus Christ, 100% God and 100% man (the fulness of The Godhead bodily) left heavens glory to be born of a virgin,(Isaiah 9:6, The child born & the Son given, shall be called The Mighty God) walked among men and lived a sinless life. He (not they) died for our sins according to the scriptures,(Jesus) was buried, but (Jesus) was raised again the third day for our justification. Believe it and have eternal live. (He that believeth in ME as the scriptures hath said)
Again, He (not they) was 100% God,(not they) 100% man. Was (One) God still in heaven? Yes. Was (One) God on earth in the form of man? Yes. Was one God separate and distince from the other God? Which of these "One" Gods was the almighty? Which was the 1st? which was the last? To which God will every knee bow, and to which shall every tongue confess? Take heed unto thyself and unto The Doctrine, for in doing so, thou shalt both save thyself and those that hear thee.
Again, it is impossible for our human mind to comprehend this.
Hey Sarge; Good to see that your still around. I was afraid that you had rocked off into the sunset. How have you been? I am doing fine, and I still vist here on occasion. My wife has been sick and between that and work, I am still getting by.

IMO it means a great deal where any doctrine originates as we are warned to contend for "The Faith" not any faith. The doctrine I use is the Word of God, and I take IT by faith. There is "good doctrine" and then there is "False doctrine". I agree, and only one Book. There is "The doctrine of God", and then there is what is called in the scriptures, "doctrines of devils". A workman that needeth not be ashamed, is a workman who has studied to show himself approved unto God, having rightly divided the word of truth. Yep. We may not understand all the things of God, but does that excuse us from all responsability to strive for the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus? No, we should study the Word daily. Does lack of knowledge justify, or condemn us? Not believing the Word will condemn us. Isn't His people destroyed for the lack of knowledge? Behold the days come saith the Lord God, when I will send a famine in the land. Not a famine for bread to eat, nor water to drink, but for hearing the word of the Lord. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. It does not matter, just put your faith in what the book says. which was the last? To which God will every knee bow, and to which shall every tongue confess? The person of Jesus Christ. Take heed unto thyself and unto The Doctrine, for in doing so, thou shalt both save thyself and those that hear thee.

Why do you find this hard to believe and understand?

Sarge, I don't have any problem with the word, and it appears that you don't either we get to the last part of your post. Here it is.
Again, He (not they) was 100% God,(not they) 100% man. Was (One) God still in heaven? Yes. Was (One) God on earth in the form of man? Yes. Was one God separate and distince from the other God? It doesn't matter to me, I take the word by faith. Great, but what does the word say? Does it say 2 separate and distince beings? Lets answer John 1:1 with a multiple choice answer. Complete the following In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and The Word was:
1. Gods
2. Two separate and distince beings
3. Two persons with the same will working together in harmony
4. None of the above

You are right! The human mind will never understand God!
Rom 8:6 KJV - For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
Rom 8:7 KJV - Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 KJV - So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
1Cr 2:10 KJV - But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1Cr 2:11 KJV - For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Cr 2:12 KJV - Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1Cr 2:13 KJV - Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Cr 2:14 KJV - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
1Cr 2:15 KJV - But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Cr 2:16 KJV - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
