Hi,

It's been non-existant since we moved from Michigan to Louisiana. The military has been keeping me busy as well. It's time that I pack up the tree stand, grab my bow and rifle, load up the truck, and hitch up the camper though! There is nothing in the world like sitting in the tree stand during the day and hanging around the camp fire at night!

Got a couple doves for my weimer pup to retreive. Went after some upland birds. The chuckars flushed wild, no shot. The huns held better got a couple shots, one bird. Phesant & waterfowl has opened but hurt my back cutting a couple of trees down. Still haven't got them cleaned up as I have been on the heating pad for a week. I should be puddle jumping mallards and flushing roosters along the creek in about 45 minutes, but may be tomorrow I will bring myself to try it.

Thanks for the encouraging words there Bro. You are probably 100% correct though. To bad he came along so late in life, he has the potental to be an outstanding, versatile hunting buddy.
You've been too quite lately, you doing OK?

yep that's why I havn't gone and got a shorthair, I have always had Shorthairs, He would probably end up with somebody that doesn't hunt or I would end up with a dog I couldn't keep up with
Weimers are a great dog and I hope he turns out good..as I always say "just hunt them if they are bred to they will". The key is time in the field.

As for being quiet I have never been accused of that. I have been defending Christians and my faith to the world with a Norwegien Browser, in my spare time. Mostly Athesists there. No hunting people etc and anti-gun. The interesting part was they are from all over the world. I got a little bored as all forums sometimes the same things are repeated over and over.

Yep I am feeling good, a few minor things, mainly old age

I plan on dragging one this year.,
Take care
