I did not know where else to put this.
Lately, after watching some commercials for "Feed The Children" and other charitable organiztions, which often bring tears to my eyes, I've really felt lead, to suggest an outreach program.
How about we raise funds, collect food, clothing etc. for the children, the poor, homeles and needy - right here in the US.
We can do it on a national basis, by giving and collecting money, raised thorough events, fund raisers etc,; and each of us can do it locally, by searvhing out a needy family, or a homeless person or persons, at shelters etc., by giving of our time, talents., and money. We each could work at a shelter, a food line, a food shelf, donate to a food shelf, offer to share our homes and meals with a homless person or family dufing teh holidays; Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day. or any day.
Think of the joy we could bring a homelss or poor child, which had it's first meal at a table in days, weeks or years.
And then get their story, and your own story about how helping the poor, needless or needy - changed your lives or touuched you - and then submit those stries to the website, and to me, and I will put together a compliation or book, on the homeless, and our efforst to help them - which I will try to get published, and give all of the proceeds to charity.
I feel very strongly about this. So, if you have ideas or suggestions, feel free to post them here, or e-mail me direct at

Please - help me with this project, by helping others, as we are mandated to do by Jesus and our Christian beliefs. Please pray for this outreach and ministry, we will need all the help we can get.
I will also need others to grab hold of the reins and organize things in each state and city. If you feel led to help- let me know.
May God bless you and yours, and may He show you how He wants you to help this outreach,
We will also need photographs of poor and homeles people in their homesll surroundings, and then at our owne home, or at planed events.
