Three verses after the account about Thomas, John explained that he wrote so that people “may believe that JesusistheChristtheSonofGod”—not that he is God.

no it does not fit as you are acting on a false supposition that Jesus is in fact GOD thee almighty , he is not , as scripture has made this very clear at every turn .
then you try to back up your stand on a false doctrine on a scripture which is a metaphor

do you mean to say you did not know that if Jehovah provides it then it is by his authority that it happens
