Default A Reminder

Credit goes to Sylvan.

Well here's my two cents........

I think many of the topics discussed here are complex and difficult to understand.

I think everyone who posts here, myself included, is guilty of misinterpreting another posters words.

I think everyone who posts here, myself included, often poorly expresses the idea they intended to convey even though in their mind they expressed the idea succintly.

I think many if not all the posters here have very strongly held beliefs and sometimes feel offended when another poster doesn't agree with them.

I think most if not all of the disagreements that come up here can not be prooved either way even though both sides feel they have indeed prooved their point.

I think, many posters assume that when another poster disagrees it's just because they didn't understand and it couldn't possibly be that they understood but didn't agree and for legitimate
reasons.

I think posters who believe they have been misunderstood should bear some of the responsibility for the misunderstanding and not just lay it all on others.

I think all posters here are honestly trying to express what they think, without prevarication.

I think a red flag should go up in the minds of ALL posters the instant their fingers begin to type ANY sort of cutting comment about another. When the flag goes up the delete key should be the next key pressed.

The only problem is that some people don't want to understand or accept, due to their own prejudices.

This closed-mindedness only leads to attacks and false accusations towards those who disagree with thier tunnel-vision ideas. An open mind is a great virtue.
